Juniors Success Stories

Marie-Claire Domingo has successfully completed all the criteria towards The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is a program for young people building their skills to equip them for life and work. Creating opportunities for young people to develop skills get physically active, give service and experience adventure. Each participant chooses what activities they want to take part and it is a very personal program that offers young people a structure to fulfil their passions and ambitions in a way that suits them.
Marie-Claire chose to share her love for golf and volunteered to assist myself with cadets throughout last year. This assistance was invaluable to me and helped her achieve her goal.
I would also like to recognise Savannah Webb who again has been selected to represent the West Sydney Academy of Sport golf team.
Not only that she has been identified by the program staff as the lead representative where she will be the voice of her fellow program athletes. A great personal achievement and will help with developing her leadership skills.
My congratulations goes to both of these young ladies.
