We are always looking for additional volunteers to help with the work being done each week by the SRGC Volunteer Group. Like any other volunteer group, over time we have volunteers come and go, therefore we are constantly seeking new members who wish to assist.

There are currently around 12 volunteers that regularly come out and assist with the work we do, averaging about 8 each Monday, and we also have a few who come out on Fridays.

It’s now just over 12 months since the group first started and during that time we have worked on: –

• Tee box gardens and surrounds
• Club house gardens, halfway gardens, driveways, and car park.
• Removing dead plants and planting new ones
• Cleaning waterways
• Restoration of tee box signs and seating
• Addition of larger bollards seen around the course
• Trimming of overgrowth over cart paths
• Cleaning of debris around the course
• Maintenance of areas around the course perimeter
• Some path repairs

 

Each day starts at 8.00am and finishes at 12.00 noon followed by a complementary lunch and drink, if you are interested in meeting new people and making a real difference to your club, or have any questions, please contact ceo@srgc.net.au
