This weekend was to be 2 rounds on the Sunday and Monday at Camden Golf Club and Campbelltown Golf Club. Unfortunately due to the amount of rain that we’ve had Camden Golf Club remained closed bringing the event down to 1 day.

Our Juniors attending this year were Annoushka Maikap, Marie-Claire Domingo, Savannah Webb, Jack Gillett, Sean Sammons, Darcy Mackay and Andrew Kneeves.

With wet ground conditions some of our Juniors struggled but there were still some great birdies and plenty of pars.

Our best placed junior was Savannah Webb, with a +6 she took 1st Place for the 14-15 girls.  Our congratulations goes to Savannah.

I know the rest of the juniors will be disappointed with their scores as they did not achieve the placements deserved, Annoushka with +5, Andrew +4, Darcy +5, Marie-Claire +5 nett, Sean +6 nett and Jack +13 nett but with playing away from home there were plenty of positives. JNJG is always a challenge and keeps our Juniors practicing with even more determination.

I am also pleased to say that we had 3 of our Cadets, Lily Su, Justin Castillo and Jacob Bartolome playing in JNJG Juniors on the Move Event at Campbelltown. This is a 9 hole event over 2 days where Lily came 3rd in her age group and Justin came T3rd in his age group. It’s great to see our Cadets also representing their club.
